I was raised in a world very different from today's. Being a military brat has many advantages, as well as disadvantages. Growing up with the world as your playground allows for a wonderful perspective and mindset unlike anything that a hometown could ever provide.
After entering University at the ripe old age of 17, I left after my first year. I had to figure out what it was I wanted to be when I grew up. I traveled a bit, partied a lot, and learned about myself through such endeavors as being an Auxiliary Police Officer, a Security Specialist, and a member of the United States Marine Corps. After leaving the military after my contract was finished I returned to college and became an adult education teacher.
I married, raised two sons, and got into the field of dogs and dog training. I started with a cute German Shepherd puppy that continued on until I was being asked to join a Search & Rescue group heading to the twin towers on 9/11.
